Contrary to what some have said that A-List Actresses like Genevieve Nnaji and Omotola -- get special treatment from Producers who let them choose the roles they play in Nigerian movies.

Here's what Genevieve Nnaji had to say about that, in a recent interview with Vanguard Nigeria:

“I don’t actually choose the roles. Producers usually look out for actors they believe that can interprete certain roles. They usually choose me because they think and believe that I am a good role interpreter.” -GENEVIEVE NNAJI

So this means, no one in the industry is too big to be assigned a role to play in Nigerian movies. Producers and Casting directors assign roles based on who can interpret characters the best.
